i'm about 25 pounds overweight, and i'd like to lose some (or all) of that weight this summer before i start college. I've heard some good things about the South Beach Diet, and i was wondering what kind of results to expect while I'm on Phase 1 (the strictest phase). like, how much weight will i lose? i'll be combining it with about 2 hours of exercise a day (burning around 1000 calories). also, what kind of side effects might there be? like, how should i expect to feel?
