There is nothing inherently wrong about deliberately rendering a species extinct, it is rather killing a large number of individuals that may be a moral problem, depending on the species in question (for instance, it is worse to kill a dog than a fish, etc). A method that did not actually kill individuals, but merely prevented them from reproducing, would not even present this problem.

The required GPA is a 3.5 so you're fine in that area. The extra curriculars seem to be alright, the issue may be the ACT score. I don't think any college will pick the best individual scores, I think they just take the best overall ACT you have. And while a 24 is a good score for the ACT, I believe UofM requires something like a 27 or 28 for admittance. However, that does not automatically rule you out, but it seems that will be your biggest deterrent.

The monsoons are coming, so she called me up the other day and told me she needed me to come fix it asap. She can't afford the $250 materials I'll need, so guess who gets to pay? I suggested building a small wood shelter for the dogs instead, which would be just as effective and cost only about $50. But no, they have to have a whole covered porch to stay out of the rain. These dogs will be perfectly fine out in the rain come on why should I have to help them out.. If she cant afford them then she should take them to the pound right?

I'm looking into taking up a combat sport... how do I know which one is right for me?

I haven't met a capoeira guy yet who can really fight. I've seen a couple on youtube but they also practice other arts in combination. Wushu isn't the same thing as kung fu. I practice a style of kung fu, among a couple other arts, and wushu is nothing like it in regards to practicality. Chinese Wushu is a sport. It entails a lot of acrobatics but little usable fighting technique. Don't confuse the two. If you are looking for sport though (real martial arts are not sports, They are about building real survival skill, and real martial artists exhibit that), mostly any school will work. Furthermore, telling you to take up an art is not synonymous with pointing you toward an instructor who will help you reach your goals. Martial arts have their own merit but instructors vary greatly in their actual worth. Many of them are quacks just out to get your money, but its hard to tell until someone attacks you and you realize you have been wasting time and money at some class. They will most likely build your confidence and make you "feel" safer on the road, but that doesn't mean you will actually be much good at defending yourself. I bet a lot of people will refute me on this, but that's kind of because they are some of these people who haven't been tested. I know a lot of confident guys and girls who are not much good at defending themselves in street-like situations. Don't become one of them. Choose a good instructor as well as an art. Every other goal you listed can be achieved at almost any school though, those just come with general training.

Most likely the fish oil is causing this. I take vitamins myself but do not take fish oil anymore. The reason being fish oil only made me nauseous and burp uncontrollably.. I would suggest to cut back on all the vitamins and instead choose a multivitamin. And don't forget to drink a lot of water. Also the body tends to adapt after awhile, for an example many people after awhile will find they need to change their dose of medicine because the body is not responding to it as it use to. I think that is the same with you. You need to find out how much you're body really needs. I think a visit to a doctor or vitamin expert would be best for you.

I use to live in Colorado and was trying to get on Denver Fire. Unfortunately as I was working through the cadet program I got a DUI this resulted in me being disqualified for life at the time I was 21. This disqualification occurred because I had another DWAI that was dropped when I was 18. But obviously the Fire Dept has the capability of finding a DWAI, even if it was dropped. I started giving blood in June, 2010 and gave once a quarter until March, 2011. I was also placed on Prevacid at Rx level in the 3rd quarter of 2010 and remained on it until March, 2011. My iron level dropped from 188 in Oct. 2009 to 16 in May, 2011. It is my understanding that frequent blood donation, especially for someone over 65, can lead to iron deficiency anemia. During that same period my hemoglobin dropped from 16.2 to 15 and, since stopping Prevacid, and taking iron supplements has increased to 15.8. Christians: what was I poisoned with?

I am still looking for answers, I cried out to Jesus but still no answer, it's like no one tells me, maybe a messenger of God on yahoo can tell me, I think I heard Jesus speak once, he said b????? o?????? two drugs combined but I couldn't make that out and what he was trying to tell me what I was poisoned with. What I was poisoned with was dark blue stuff; I was hit with an object in my left arm and the poison made it's way to my brain thus leading to brain damage, if someone knows please ask Jesus/God, I am very sad in tears in the inside, emotionally broken down, sometimes I think of suicide or death but I get very afraid, there is no hope for me and not very many people are understanding as those two people were. Atheists also make hate comments and try to tell me or make it look like it's my fault, hope you can help. Miserable 20 month old after tonsil, adenoid and tube surgery?

My 20 month old had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in yesterday morning. He is crying nonstop (I can only imagine how painful it must be). Should i forgive my dad?
