Why are some Homo sapiens gay? And are any other animals on the planet that have gays?

interesting question, i think its more of a choice early on in life whether consciously or sub consciously. who knows but in the genes?? i'm not sure. there are dogs that act gay as they are just not fussy what they bonk! Just confused or driven!
